We began as a small, retail brokerage firm in 2008 dedicated solely to insuring nonprofit and human service organizations. Developing our core philosophies and practices since that time, we have grown into multiple businesses providing a range of brokerage and underwriting capabilities. As we did, we ensured that our stakeholders benefited from the expertise that niche-focused businesses deliver, while leveraging the efficiency of shared services (HR, IT and Finance) across our family of companies. In short, Signers National is the single entity providing resources and counsel to the whole of this system.

Executive Team

Joshua Lamberg

CEO and Founder

Josh Lamberg is the founder and CEO of Signers National, a holding company that includes,. Before founding his first independent venture, Lamb Insurance Services, the nation’s largest insurance broker dedicated exclusively to social service organizations, Josh developed his expertise in this space working for Philadelphia Insurance Companies and Liberty Mutual Insurance.

After graduating from the University of Richmond with a degree in Rhetoric and Communications, Josh had a short professional baseball career as catcher with several different teams including the Cincinnati Reds minor league organization. The values and ethics that Josh developed in baseball are the foundation of all companies under the Signers National umbrella. Attitude, effort, and preparation are the core elements of his company’s success. Grit, relentless drive, and continuous improvement are Signers’ best practices.

Charles Alexander

President

As President, Charles is responsible for day-to-day operations at Signers, as well as working with the Senior Leadership Teams at each of our companies. Charles helps shape the company’s strategies, financial outcomes, and the customer experience we deliver. In addition, Charles serves as the company’s general counsel to ensure our legal affairs are handled in the most equitable and efficient way for our company, our partners and our nationwide base of clients.

Adrienne Matarazzo – SHRM-CP

Managing Director of Talent Acquisition

Adrienne leads a team of talented recruiters focusing on emerging and early career talent all the way through executive level. Prior to joining the Signers team, Adrienne led the recruiting efforts for a National leader in Legal Solutions for 5 years.
Adrienne earned her BS in Fashion Merchandising from Philadelphia University.

Salvatore V. Abano

President, Retail Operations

As President of Retail Operations, Sal brings over 30 years of Insurance experience, having served in multiple C-level and senior management roles in Operations, Strategy and Innovation, Business Transformation, and Technology for Convelo Insurance Group, Hiscox Insurance, Argo Group International, Tower Group International, QBE the Americas, Kemper Insurance, Munich Re America and AIG.

In addition to his corporate experience, Sal completed a 24-month overseas tour of duty with the United States Army as Chief Technology Officer, Military and Technology Operations, in Operation Iraq Freedom III. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Combat Action Badge among other prestigious awards during his career; he is now retired military officer with over 26 years of service in the United States Marine Corps and United States Army reserves.

Sal has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Science from Brooklyn College – The City University of New York, a Masters in Business Administration degree from Regis University, and executive certifications from Harvard Business School and MIT- Sloan School of Management.

Chris Parkinson

Chief Information Officer

Chris Parkinson is our Group Information Technology leader at Signers National. As a seasoned technology leader with over 35 years of experience in the P&C insurance industry, Chris brings a wealth of expertise in various C-level and senior technology management roles.

Previously, Chris served as the SVP of Information Technology at AmTrust Financial Services, where he oversaw global data services for all lines of business and acted as an IT business partner to the Specialty Risk segment. Prior to that, he held senior positions at AmTrust Financial Services, Tower Group Companies, Aequicap Insurance Group, Credit General Insurance Company, General Auto Insurance, and United Southern.

Chris’s extensive knowledge spans Commercial and Personal P&C lines, as well as Warranty classes globally. He has a proven track record of deploying robust and transformative technologies, utilizing custom and vended platforms for carriers, MGAs, and retail agencies. Additionally, Chris has successfully managed large and medium-sized IT departments and offshore development teams, leveraging managed capacity models in India and Eastern Europe.

With a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of the insurance industry, Chris is dedicated to driving technological advancements that enhance operational efficiency and deliver exceptional results.

Brian Murray

Managing Director of People and Operations

As the Managing Director, People Operations, Brian leads the People function across all of Signers. Prior to joining the Signers team, Brian worked with a variety of high growth companies in Advertising, SaaS, and Legal Marketing. Companies he has worked for have been recognized as a Best Place to Work in both NYC and across the country. Brian studied Special Education and History at the University of Scranton.
